Description
In an era of globalization, the issue is no longer one of private versus public property, but who should control this property, the owners of capital or the owners of labour? Professor Zamagni argues that the co-operative represents a superior alternative to capital ownership, as it promotes the application of deliberative democracy in the economic sphere, a more equitable and efficient management of common goods, and reciprocity. This Bologna Summer Program was presented in Vancouver, BC and is part of the Bologna Lecture series.
