Healing the brain: Mild traumatic brain injury in central Vancouver Island adolescents
Abstract
Poster highlighting project to help the Nanaimo Brain Injury Society expand its services, especially in relation to mild traumatic brain injuries (concussions) in youth aged 15-19. Research was conducted through a questionnaire to assess knowledge of central Vancouver Island teens and parents; to gain insight as to how teens are currently experiencing concussions; and to identify service needs to assist program development.
