Changes in gene expression and development in response to naphthenic acid exposure in Drosophila melanogaster
Poster highlighting research investigating if exposure to naphthenic acids (NAs), a significant environmental contaminant found in oil extraction waste water, can affect the egg-to-pupal stage maturation rate of Drosophila melanogaster, and also to determine if exposure to NAs can affect the expression of genes related to development and oxidative stress.
