These geoscience data collections have grown through curricular undergraduate research in the VIU Earth Science Department. Digital collections include rock descriptions, geographic information, whole rock major oxide and trace element data, site photos, and VIU publications based on the collection data. Physical specimens including hand samples and thin sections, are housed in the VIU Earth Science Department teaching collections.
